I have been designing and developing websites for the last decade, and this website is where I proudly promote my work.  In addition to developing and re–designing websites, I have also devoted much of my time turning an artistic eye to graphic imaging.

I enjoy interacting with the people who help get the job done.  Each assignment has brought new challenges requiring creative solutions, strong organizational skills, interpersonal communication, and finding the right emergent tools in order to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as humanly possible.

I grew up in Tennessee but now make my home in Brooklyn.  When I’m not checking out websites or learning new techniques, I enjoy volunteering, keeping up with the performing arts, and relaxing with a good book, movie, or television show.

Thanks for stopping by, and let me know how I can help you achieve your solutions.

Next: Giving Back

I believe in giving back, and to that end I volunteer my time whenever and wherever I can.  Unfortunately, I never have enough time to offer every organization that I feel does outstanding work, so I rely on supporting them monetarily as I can and encourage others to contribute however they can.  Listed below are three non–profit organizations which I support and encourage you to check out.  Clicking the organization’s thumbnail image launch the respective website in a new browser window.

The Actors Fund logo

The Actors Fund
and The Actors Fund Work Program

The Actors Fund is a remarkable service organization providing a safety net to all professionals in the entertainment industry.  Since 1879, The Actors Fund has been responding to the changing and challenging needs of the community that gives us theatre, film, radio, television, and dance.  And the staff at the Actors Fund Work Program do yeomen work for all members who seek survival and parallel jobs while continuing to develop their entertainment careers, as well as offering career counseling to those who have decided to transition out of the industry.  Please support The Actors Fund by clicking here.

The Trevor Project logo

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is a national service organization that offers counseling and assistance to at risk youth who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, or questioning.  Over the course of too many months recently, our newspapers have reported a number of incidents concerning teens and young adults who took their own lives because they saw no happy way of continuing to live.  This is not acceptable to me, and supporting The Trevor Project is a “no brainer.”  Providing life–saving and life–affirming resources for these young people via 24/7 crisis intervention hotline, The Trevor Project also maintains many worthy advocacy and educational programs that help to create a safe and supportive environment for all.  I share its goal of working toward a future where “possibilities, opportunities, and dreams are the same for all youth, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.”  I hope you will, too.  Click here to find out how you can help save young lives.

Oceana logo

Oceana: Protecting the World’s Oceans

Kay Prothro introduced me to Oceana last summer when we were giving her website a few tweaks.  Having grown up near the Gulf of Mexico as well as being an avid sailor, Kay wanted to find some small way to use her site as a means of helping restore the Gulf following the off–shore oil rig explosion and subsequent spill.  Our search led us to Oceana.  It is the largest international organization strictly dedicated to ocean conservation.  By concentrating on only a few directed campaigns whose results are scientifically measurable, such as destructive fishing practices and the blatant dumping of pollutants, Oceana works with knowledgeable teams to achieve tangible solutions aimed at restoring our oceans to the rich abundance they once had.  Click here to read Oceana’s blog, and here to learn the many ways you too can be a supporter.
